I have been a realtor since 1999 most of that time I have been associated with Long and Foster Real Estate. I have found my association with L&F mutually beneficial both financially and philosophically.
When I started in this field my goal was to learn as much as I could as fast as I could so that when I represented my clients I could do the best job possible. To that goal I earned my GRI certificate and my Brokers license in those first 3 years. This was quite an accomplishment seeing as most realtors don’t start their Broker’s license work until they have been in the business at least 3 years. Since that time I have continued to educate myself, stay up with market trends and strive to anticipate the market’s next move as well as future events effecting home values and investments.
The way I work with my clients is pretty straight forward and realistic. I feel that people do not higher me to tell them what they want to hear but what they need to hear especially in these changing times. Once we have an understanding my job becomes that of guiding and supporting you, my client, in the real estate endeavor. To do that, I stay on top of and analyze market conditions and trends. I keep you, my client, apprised of the market and the trends as we proceed. During the process of buying and/or selling I work as your representative to market your property for maximum exposure as well as present you in the best light when you are purchasing your home. I negotiate on your behalf and always work towards positioning my clients in their best advantage. I consider it important when we are working together that you continually have full knowledge of what is going on in the market that includes what the competition is. So that means giving you information on what is available and competing, what has recently gone under agreement as well as what has sold in the last 6 months. I try to give you what I would need to make an intelligent decision, sometimes I find that my clients need more and sometimes they want less. That is ok too. My goal is to make this process comfortable and as least stressful as possible and guide you to a successful conclusion.
Outside of working with my clients I also mentor and teach new agent as they enter the field. I enjoy getting to know the newer agent and seeing a fresh take on the industry. I also know that buy teaching I am also strengthening my skills and learning new ones. I would like to say that I do this to give back to the industry but I feel I receive many more benefits from teaching than I give.
Before becoming a realtor I worked in corporate America specifically in Hospitals as an executive. I can relate to the daily routines, the stress, the commute and very well relate to the complications of being transferred. Although I always found the new challenges exciting, I found that starting a new position and having finding living quarters not always easy. I am very aware of your time challenges and your need to focus when the time does allow. Believe me I value your time as well as my own and will work toward making our time together productive.
I grew up in the Bucks County area, specifically Doylestown and have spent much time getting to really know the area and neighborhoods as an adult. I left the area to go to college in Ohio as I attended Ashland University and then returned to the area to receive a master’s degree at Drexel University. Since then I have continued to educate myself with continuing education class so that I can continue to grow as a whole person and friend.
